The media misses the main point. It wasn't morals although that played a role it was the veteran vote. At the beginning Kerry had approximately 50% of the veteran vote or 9 million of the 18 million votes. By the end it was down to 20 - 25% or a loss of 4.5 million votes (25% of 18M). If they all went to Bush its a 9M vote swing.

I hope for the country's sake and the Democratic party they realize their candidate had a lot of baggage.

For our country's sake I hope the pressure continues to be put on for this guy to sign his 180 or else he's going to still be a force in the democratic party.

Brinkly on Imus this AM indicated Kerry should come back again in 4 years.

We all owe a debt of gratitude to the veterans and the Swift Vote Veterans.
