yes, correct and therefore so is my post. The prohibition against establishing a state religion or restricting religion is covered to date. There are no Federal marriage laws. Therefore the states can regulate there own.

You seem to think the states can regulate nothing. Marriage laws are the domain of the states. The Federal Government has taken far too many liberties (no pun intended) with the making of laws and regulation outside their domain. The same can be said for many Judges that legislate from the bench.

What is actually needed is a constitutional amendment that prevents activists judges from their wild rulings provided without discussion and/or request. Limiting their wasteful interference that frequency costs money and time. Many judges have the feeling they are Royalty and their thoughts become edicts if only until they are reversed.
