she told me to "shove it" and then immediately put me on ignore just for pointing out that it was equally possible that the exit polling was flawed.
But NOOOOO these nuts have to believe in conspiracies.
They simply cannot accept the fact that 1. They had the wrong candidate, at the wrong place, at the wrong time 2.He lacked charisma 3.He couldn't run from his record 4.The hijacking of the party to the extreme left rendered it way out of step with the bulk of the country.
These folks are all p.o.'ed and into calling the red states and Bush voters stupid, etc. because they are utterly convinced that they are the only ones with any smarts or sense.
IOW, they're elitists who know what is best for everyone.
That's why they cloister themselves in echo chambers like the Chinu thread.
After all, can't have any contrary viewpoints or analysis that differs from the DNC pablum being fed these brilliant elitists on a daily basis through the functional equivalents of tin foil hats or psychic IV's. Yet, they think they're "independent" "Progressive" thinkers.
LOL.
One can't really believe what any politician has to say. The best we can do is throw our votes to the side that seems more aligned with our own beliefs.
I'd welcome the Dems to re-evaluate their party and to groom some worthwhile candidates so that the choices are meaningful.
But if the lefty nutcases on SI, or those in the party of their ilk, have anything to do with it, that will never happen. If you look at their reaction to the election, their deep denial, and their willingness to buy into literally any conspiracy theory foisted upon them by their effective handlers, well....what can I say?
The Democrat party has really fallen into disrepair. Instead of being the party of tolerance and enlightenment, it has become the party of intolerance for any viewpoint other than its extreme left agenda.
Having cloistered themselves thusly, and having done everything possible to undermine any opposing message, they then wonder how they lost.
After all, no one they knew voted for Bush. Duh. |
