Sorry, but I think an examination of their backgrounds, including past compliments to Kerry made by some of them and the contradictions in their stories, and the awkward-for-you fact that the guys who were with him, including Republicans, shows the Swiftboat vets are liars with an agenda. Effective liars, though. Their lies may have given the election to the slacker.
Kerry reported what was told to him by Vietnam vets. He thought it was important, you don't. He thought Americans should stop dying there, you don't. If you want to relive that war, I could post Vietnam atrocity links all day. Kerry did what he thought was right in going for two tours of duty and coming home with shrapnel in his leg, while Bush... lol...
And then he did what he thought was right again. There are Americans alive today who wouldn't be if Kerry and others hadn't stopped that war by revealing the truth. Some whose fathers lived to have children, and grandchildren, because the war was stopped, may be able to on this thread thanks to the anti-war people like Kerry.
The Bush administration of course prevents the war in Iraq, including civilian casualties, from being shown to Americans by using "embeds," and the lapdog media don't show the footage that seen elsewhere, and which is driving the mideast public into murderous rage against us.
There's a mentality on this thread that says that Abu Ghraib shouldn't have been exposed and ended. I don't know if you share it, but I imagine that since you think the Vietnam atrocities should have been kept secret, you do. |
