Well, no. But the mindless pessimists - you know who you are - would do well to consider that not only is the US economy now creating domestic jobs faster than the US workforce is growing, the mighty US economy is also driving prosperity around the globe by buying the labor of ever-expanding legions of foreign workers.

I can only conclude that the majority of human brains are hard-wired for pessimism. Pessimism is an evolutionarily-advantaged trait, I guess, as it leads to hoarding behaviors that were appropriate in a time when next year's crop might in fact fail.
