THIS IS WHERE THE COUNTRY IS GOING FAST Tom Coburn, the new senator from Oklahoma, has advocated the death penalty for doctors who perform abortions and warned that "the gay agenda" would undermine the country. He also characterized his race as a choice between "good and evil" and said he had heard there was "rampant lesbianism" in Oklahoma schools. The guy's a nut, he's prompted & cajoled numerous young (and often pregnant) women into having unnecessary hysterectomies who later regretted the decision. Part of his campaign included at least one woman who's been openly bragging and writing letters about how he saved her life doing this. Even though he's part Indian himself he's bashed the Native American population by stating "None of you are Indians, you're all white people now." He's proposing a national 24¢ sales tax on everyone as a cure for what he calls a failing system. If he can't figure out how stupid that is ....... He's Republican but even the NRA doesn't support him, yet he planted tons of campaign signs that said "Sportsmen for Coburn" The guy did nothing but lie himself into office. You might expect higher prices all around too as he's not the least bit sympathetic of the farming communities.
