Kerry has argued that he was supporting the best interests of America. He never has satisfactorily explained how being a puppet of the Viet Cong, extending the war, causing the death and extended imprisonment of thousands of servicemen, and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory was in the best interests of America. There in lies the dilemma.
