At least four Republican Senators may have to vote with the Dems and against their own party. They despise Bush but are forced, by their labels, to support the schlub. Chaffee even wrote in Bush I instead of Bush II on his vote.

Conservative Republicans are livid and frightened over economic conditions. They still can't get it through their heads that Bush believes absolutely that deficits DO NOT MATTER...EVER.

What matters is not the balancing of the books but how much HE and his CRONIES can steal from the US middle class wage earning taxpayer over the next 4 years. Bush is planning HELL for the US.
