I am long quite a few shares on XECM at an average price around $2.35, and am feeling the pain of the drop of the last 3 or 4 weeks in the share price. My thoughts on the supposed short selling is as follows:

1) Short sellers are usually sophisticated investors and on the bulletin board can include the market makers on the stock, and they have deep pockets.

2) If people like this are shorting the stock, then the stock must was probably overvalued when it was at $3, due to being hyped by such things as the radio show

3)Usually the same people who are promoting/hyping the stock are make big noises about the large short position and talking about such gimicks as registering the shares in your name

4)I feel the only thing that will move the stock over $3 on a sustainable basis is solid fundamentals such as the revenues that would be derived from meeting the company's stated goal of having at least 70,000 or more paying subscribers withing the next couple of months

If you still believe in the company for the long term as I do, probably the only thing you can do if you bought like I did at a much higher price than today's $1.35, is buy some more shares at the current low price and then sell them the next time the share price get's ahead of the fundamentals (like the next time it is hyped on various radio shows). This way you can reduce your average cost. I'd be interested in your response since you seem to have good sources on XECM.
