Good point. It is important to focus on 2006 and strengthen our local organizations.

We must also prepare a reactionary force for when Bush tries to ram extremist proposals or judges through the system. Typically Bush does everything in secret and then springs his proposals for a vote in congress before anyone really reads the legislation. This must change. We need to be part of the solution - this may include letter writing, phone calls to our legislators or even large scale protests. We must be heard.
