I am a veteran and I can argue about his post VN activities. The NVA and VC were torturing US infantry and pilots long before Kerry even got there - bad things happened on all side of it. War is wasteful and terrifying. How do you think that war came to an end? It was people standing up and telling people what was really going on - some times in language that is inflamatory and against the political tide- sometimes that's what it takes to make significant change. You folks just won an election - congratulations - but don't pull this santimonius nonsense about who can argue what. Remember your campaign process - remember the job you guys did on McCain or Max Clelland? These are two guys I have enormous respect for - I wouldn't be that quick to judge Kerry - there were a lot of guys who fought there that had the balls to say what we were doing wasn't working. Those kind of people are important in democracies - you should respect them (even if you disagree with them). Altair19
