Fifty one percent (51%) isn't any kind of mandate I've ever heard of. If 137k people in Ohio had voted differently, he would have lost. He won by the narrowest win of any incumbent since Woodrow Wilson. Only 30 percent, they tell Gallop, want Bush to advance the Republican Party's agenda.

The Big Lie technique is to say something so often people begin to believe it.

Not me, however.

Everyone on the GWB thread can call it a mandate all they want and I still know it's 51%, which for an incumbent, during a war, is soooo not a mandate.
