The South was the breakaway section in the 1860s.


Exactly. And now its the South who wants the North to stay. The North weren't pushovers back then and they won't be now........assuming they want to secede.

The CSA didn't include states like Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Iowa, West Virginia and Missouri, to count only the states that existed at that time. (14 Red States and 5 Blue States didn't exist back then).

I don't understand your point. However, its important to note that I believe the vote in Kansas, Iowa, Kentucky and Indiana was very close......they almost joined the South.
