Tell me, how long have you been holding Sun?

I remember considering it back in 1994 or so, when it was building workstations that were so expensive they only competed with Silicon Graphics machines... but I never actually bought any.. it's not too late I suppose!

I also remember reading in Fortune a year or two ago that article that showed Bill Gates' and Scott McNealy's opinions of the "new Java programming language", and also the bearded guy at Sun who created it and thought it might be big vs. the bearded equivalent at Microsoft, who thought it was "no big deal." That's still the argument today, but Sun and Java have certainly come a long way as far as credibility goes...

I think an interesting point is that the Sun pe = Microsoft's pe / 2, even after the recent runup.
