With EIDE. Slowest guy slows the parade. SCSI allows all participants to play at their own speed. A second hard drive is always a very POOR choice for backup. highly unrecommneded unless that drive is inherently backed up by some sort of removable media..... BTW: I honestly don't notice to heavy disk activity during QP scans. Sean
