Pardon me for not quite understanding your last post. Were you being tongue-in-cheek or what exactly were you trying to say? What we really need is more data on the Florida vote vis a vis county by county results comparing 2000 with 2004. I mentioned a few select counties that seemed to have very anomalous results favoring Bush, in spite of large Democratic Party registrations. We need to see if this massive cross-over vote occurred in 2000 as well. Maybe there is something about being a rural Florida Democrat that I just don't understand.
