Most "new" drugs are nothing more than a slightly changed formula , like time release etc that allow them to charge for R&D again for the same drug with the same affect.

...and renew the patent.

Doctors need to cooperate more fully and payola to doctors prescribing certain "new" drugs be more critically investigated and prosecuted.

doctors can't get away with this the way they used to because the payers are pressuring them to choose cheaper alternatives.

I was able to nail the salesman and the former Pharmacist for rigging purchases and prices. Lots of premium theater seats, VIP boxes at sports authority games....it was an eye opener to me.

California, that blue state that many here think is full of freaks and idiots, has made this practice illegal. What about your state?
