"Halted" means the stock is not allowed to trade - no buying nor selling. Luminart was "halted" for about two weeks last year for failing to file annual results by the deadline. Instead of reporting a profit (as they conveyed to shareholders prior to the release of annual results), they came out reporting a loss. Management's credibility was severely tarnished. After the "Halt" was lifted, the stock tumbled and was badly punished. Many people were burnt (including myself). I am still holding shares at a loss. This long delay of posting annual results is not a very good sign. My patience with them is really on the edge. Hopefully, history won't repeat again (but I have the feeling that they will report subpar results).
