Prescription drugs from Canada is an example.

While I agree 100% that drug prices are too high, importing from Canada is not the answer.

If everyone from the USA did it, there simply would not be enough drugs and the drug companies would only sell a certain amount to Canada(they have already intimated this). And some Canadian drugstores no longer sell to Americans bc there will be no more for Canadians.

This is clearly not a LT solution, but a simplistic populist response to the issue of high drug prices.
