All this gay marriage stuff.... not having gay marriages in '99 didn't save my marriage. Defense of marriage act didn't save my marriage. If people want to do something about the sanctity of marriage, whatever, why not something to help people stay married,instead of stopping other marriages? If they want marriage so badly, they will probably be more successful than most of us. What killed me is that they wanted to make it a constitutional amendment. That would have been the first time the Constitution would have be used to restrict our freedoms instead of expanding them.
