When did I advocate isolationism? How in the world did you read that into what I posted? Isolationism doesn't exist in the real world. It's simply not possible since it's a small planet with a very large number of human beings in it.

We have possibly killed 100,000 people, half of them women and children in a quest for American Hegemony and oil profits. That's what you advocate as a way to help people? This is on top of the FACT that the very people who have done this murderous rampage are the very people who kept the 'government' going there for 30 decades AND who formed this NEW country 100 years ago through imperialism.

Remember, ISRAEL now says that Iran, not Iraq, is the real problem and that Iraq wasn't a threat. ooops! Do you pay any attention to reality or do you just fling canned posts at anyone who doesn't agree with you?

Broad support for Israel's existence has helped Israel do what exactly? Be at war for 60 years? Oppress a people for 60 years? Take the labels off of people and look at them as individuals. Israel and the 'industrialized' world has failed utterly in finding a solution which has now resulted in a Berlin Wall...now THAT's isolationism.

What would happen if the US gave notice to Israel that it would no longer 'side' with either side but would only be the arbitrator to prevent violence. What would happen? Would it force a settlement so that all could live in peace and that this tiny strip of land would stop negatively affecting the lives of the rest of us?

What happens when the demographics means that the majority of people in that strip of land have no voice? (That's the total bs argument about being the 'only democracy in the region' because that's simply not true.) That's coming soon and why is it coming? Why do Israelis have 1/3rd the number of children that the Palestinians do?

It's a very curious thing. There is a direct negative correlation between the number of children a woman has and her level of education. What does that say about people in general?

This demographic situation applies to us as well. It's really hitting Japan right about now. It's this insistence that there is an US and a THEM. WE decline in numbers but reject THEM as inferior. It's a curious thing but it's a very real thing.

At what point does this look more like apartheid and Jim Crow than survival of an oppressed people?
