You don't understand. A nuclear armed Iran can obviously use a nuclear shield to deter nuclear attacks. This is obvious. Nuclear weapons will give Iran freedom to do things which will threaten the security of the US, Europe, and especially Israel, without having to actually use them and risk being turned into a parking lot, as you suggest. If the MMs miscalculate, the dangers of a nuclear catastrophe are much higher. Sun Tzu asked the question why is Iran dangerous if armed with nukes. I assumed the question was a bit of a taunt, not really serious, because the dangers are obvious.
