Harold, Robin:
Great posts, but I tend to agree with Robin. It may have not been about money, but Babish unloaded a boatload of stock for some STRANGE reason which we may never know about.
Harold, its a crock to think that Babish stock sale was no big deal. The company was on the verge of something great. They had in that room in NYC some great investors. Here Babish is trying to tell them how good AndroVir was and how much in sales they would have. Meanwhile, he is running out of the room at break to sell off another 5K shares. Sorry harold. Thats bad public relations. Why would anyone want to buy into the company or provide private placement dollars when their VP is unloading his shares?
I own some fairly large companies, and their top dogs don't dump when the going gets rough. One company I own forces their senior staff to BUY shares and hold them while employed. As Robin said, I wished we could have known he was dumping his stock.
Its definately about something else. I am not sure that he was proving a point by selling his stock. I think he saw gloom and doom coming and decided to get what he could. For some reasons, maybe he later regretted his decision and wants back in. Its weird.
I also agree that compare to Rhodes, he looks good. But several people on this thread commented last March what a bonhead move Babish had made. Between him and Rhodes, I feel, in hindsight, this company was doomed.
On another subject, can paracelsian make it to December with its cash reserves?
