specter statement has nothing to do with roe vs wade imo. He made a statement that said you do not support abortion then you do not get out of my committee. I doubt they are looking to reverse roe vs wade but put conservatives on the judge chairs. something we can use as i see judges getting more and more liberal and turning our constitution upside down.

Specter really upset the conservatives and the White house with his statement.. dumb imo... still do not know what ever brought it on accept a big powerful head of nonsense. They do not have to give him the chairmanship position. How much you want to bet that he doesn't get the votes in his committee.

I think he blew it. Of course this is his last term in the senate , maybe he thinks he got a mandate.
