"I wish I could concur completely that the choice of America is wrong for Americans. I am a Canadian but I am also a citizen of SI and I know that I have cyber friends who are supporters of Mr. Bush and this matters, to me. I suppose it is because I find my cyber-friends are invariably bright, curious, interesting, informative and just generally appealing." I am not trying to persuade anyone, really, that George Bush's presidency is a disaster for America. I believe that will play out in time. Why that is going to take eight instead of four years is a mystery to me, because it seems as obvious as a bullet in the forehead. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion, of course. There are many charming Republicans. It is the impact of extremely selfish, self-righteous, anti-environmental and warlike policies on me and other innocent beings everywhere that I object to.
