I guess that just because they are headquartered in CA, that doesn't necessarily mean that all of their members are from CA... it could just be a Post Office Box, maybe they have members all over.... (On a similar note: just last year a national Libertarian organization polled their members trying to find a small State that was very friendly to Libertarian ideas like small government and low taxes.... They wanted a small State so their members could move there and get involved in local politics and have a chance to influence the political direction of the State. the two finalists were WY & NH... and the "Live Free or Die" State won the final vote. Some 'tens of thousands' of people pledged to move there over the next decade or so.)
