Ish, I always thought it was a mistake for the FDA not to approve it then and limit it to men and women who would not be risking pregnancy. Over the years, I have seen some of the "thaldomide babies." This is the company: celgene.com We could get into a very deep discussion about the diethylstilbestrol (DES) babies of the 1940s and early to middle 1950s. It was their offspring who suffered. cdc.gov Whoops! I just read my link above. I had no idea it was being prescribed as late as 1971! - Holly
