"My guess is that every effort will be made to stabilize Iraq, get an Iraqi government in place, quell the terrorist influences and get the heck out of there." Haven't they been making "every effort" to do that for the past year and a half? Or were they making "something less than every effort"? Today suicide bombers killed 40 people, so far the quelling isn't jelling.
