You must have been hungover the morning they taught the relevant class. A false dichotomy is this: "We must either fight them there, or we must fight them here" It is false because there are four alternatives: fight them there but not here fight them both here and there fight them here but not there fight them neither here nor there Thus the false dichotomy is in essence a lie.
