The US troops will have to stay in Iraq for a long time (10 years may not be an overestimate). And I don't see why any other countries want to risk their soldiers' live there for keeping the US companies making huge profit.

Compared with Vietnam war, Iraqi war is not as bad in some sense (no China factor), but much worse in other sense (religious factors,locals tend to be more militant, very bad climate)... At least now the Saudi is still holding up. What if Saudi house collapse?<g> That would add up exponentials to revolting militants.
