MSNBC Should Fire Lawrence O'Donnell
By Blackfive on Current Affairs

Lawrence O'Donnell is nuttier than pachyderm poop.

Did you see his one word (repeated about fifty times) tirade against John O'Neill of the Swift Boat Vets?

I was watching the McLauglin Group last night and was disappointed to see that O'Donnell was one of the group. I haven't seen TMG in a long time so I don't know if he was filling in during this election period or he is a regular part of "the group".

O'Donnell is now claiming that President Bush did not win a majority, and, in fact, there will be a secession.

Yes, that political-genius with a towering intellect claimed that there would be a Blue State secession. And when called on that lunacy, he didn't back down. I don't believe that the transcript is available yet (the most current transcript for TMG that I can find is from October 22nd).

First, take a look at the 2004 Election map (blue and red states). Then, look at how many counties are red on the USA county map. Aside from Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, there doesn't appear to be any state with a majority of blue counties. So where is the secession going to come from?

And do I have to mention that the military supports the President. And most military bases are in Red states. I'm sure some of you could come up with better reasons...like, um, common sense and the fact that most who voted for Kerry aren't frothing at the mouth for civil war...that there won't be a secession from the union.

I almost can't believe that MSNBC keeps a nutjob like O'Donnell as an "analyst"...
