Look at all the armed world conflicts now, and you will find that the overwhelming majority involve Islamic people vs. whoever is on the other side. Based on your analysis, the Islamic insurgency in Thailand is a result of fundamentalist Christians? I think your theory just failed. Buddhist throats are being slit there, not Christian or Jew.
