A sad tale.

Yesterday morning I put in an order for 3K AON (hate messy lots on thinly traded stocks) of IPII at 1.15. Checked it around noon just before leaving for cardiac rehab. at 1.17 or 1.18. Almost bought then but decided to wait until I got back at about 3 o'clock. Got back and it is 1.48 and trading like a hurricane. Thus missed picking it up by 1 or 2 pennies. For those of you who know IPII I have a couple of questions. 1. Does their reverse split announcement indicate to you that this quarter may be a good one? I was biding my time thinking the business interruptions caused by hurricanes might depress this quarter and then all h would break loose next quarter. 2. Who bought 125,000 shares plus? If Thomsons is to believed there was little or no institutional interest.

Oh well, will probably miss this one unless it retrenches to the 1.10-1.20 range.

Did buy another K of HOM for about a dime more than I could have got it for last week. Won't miss this one if things go as we hope. I kind of preferred IPII because they are a Fla. company already operating in the affected areas as opposed to HOM which probably doesn't have local contacts and has a logistical hurdle or two to overcome.

Let those dice roll.

For Godot. Thanks for the kind remarks. Tachycardia causes the heart rate to go way too high. Have an implanted defibrillator that has gone off a couple of times, but because it won't return the rate to normal, I still end up in the emergency room and hospital.

No problem. I'm old enough to be thankful for a life that has blessed me. Just hope I last long enough to make a small fortune on HOM and one or two other trades I'm trying to set up.

Best regards,
OH
