The French have many reasons to dislike Americans. They are also nearly bankrupt, and need to generate profits whenever possible. Iraq was very profitable for French companies. A close advisor to Chiraq was receiving bribes. Other French citizens were bribed and coerced as well. Most countries will turn of their leaders who support another country to the detriment of their own interests. It takes a strong leader to defy popular opinion. Howard, Aznar and Blair are such men. Chiraq is not that strong or that moral.
