Other countries are like this too (the $400k requirement). Does Europe allow entrance this way too as long as you invest $400k and do they specify how the $400k has to be invested? Assume the 400k can't simply be networth, but rather capital you will invest into a business. What if a person already invested more than this amount into a foreign business years ago, but neglected to apply for citizenship? Is it retroactive?
