Why do you think I'm trying to find alternative places to store a little bit of cash? The deficit spooks me enough that I'd feel better if I had a little cash elsewhere. Bush doesn't seem to want to stop spending. Bush recently released tons of press releases through his journo friends indicating what his agenda would be over the next four years, but interestingly enough he made NO mention of reducing the govt's deficit. That concerns me deeply. There are no brakes to spending whatsoever. History has shown when one party dominates, spending increases. It doesn't decrease.

One of the Fed Reserve members warned last week about a "small adjustment" to the usa currency due to the deficit. After looking at some of their previous warnings, everytime these guys actually do warn (when they get out of their ignorance is bliss), they seem to be right about their warnings.

Am really glad wall street views Bush's victory as a good thing. : )
