I honestly think we will have to see another pendulum swing toward the left beginning in a year or two. Conservatism can only go so far.

I don't know if the liberal posters on the SI thread are typical of most kerry voters, but if so, the wait will be much longer than a year or two. First, they have to get over their denial that the DNC needs to change in a big way. The mentality that this election "was stolen" like 2000 won't cut it. The arrogance that us "fly over" voters don't get it won't cut it either. IMHO, it will be a long haul for the moderate democrats.
