Yes, it was Beijing. He also spends time in Shanghai, but his "crane count" was not as high there.

I think his "crane count" is interesting, but it is probably a lagging indicator.

His wife told me all about the generation of men called "little emperors". She called this entire generation brats. She was very a funny woman in a biting satirical kind of way.

Well I'm off on a trip to the southern states.
