Let's fervently hope that all the rosy scenarios you have envisioned for the outcome of US and local Iraqi efforts become realized. Though it seems rather trite of anyone to express the above sentiment, it should not be forgotten that past optimistic projections for outcomes in Vietnam and Afghanistan (including the much publicized "imminent" capture of Osama) were dashed time and time again! Would you say you were misinformed or would you say you were let down if your optimism proved to be unwarranted?
