Hillary is very polarizing. In the 2002 election cycle she was an effective fund raiser. Every time she appeared it seems that the candidate she supported would raise a large amount. The opponent would get a sudden surge in donations at the same time. She seems to have moderated that effect in the 2004 election cycle.
