All,

The 2008 election will be fought with the same Electoral College as the 2004. However the next demographic change will happen in time for the 2012 election when another 12 to 20 seats move south and west.

NY, MA, PA, OH and other northern states will lose seats and EC votes.

I didn't quite understand all the legal rambling around the 2000 census until the electoral college discussion this election.

Anyone know about any demographic projections? 1990 moved 19 seats, 2000 moved 12.

John
