This is not the first time the United States has been in trouble. It has been in worse trouble before. 140 years ago it was at war with itself at cannon point and itc currenency was so strong that the expresssion "not worth a greenback" (slang for the paper money issued at the time by the Northern Federal gov't) came into use. In the Great Depression, many were so impressed by its prospects that the left for Soviet Russia- -mostly to their regret.

Let those who wish to go, go. The rest of us will do just fine and their children will wonder at their parents stupidity.
