This is a response not only to your post.
But I assume that in this one of yours, you're being ironical because of X's past aggressive support of an individual I and others believe to have been one of the most notorious bullies and stalkers and sexual harassers on SI, a man who was instructed by SI Admin to cease posting to or about his target (who is a vulnerable sufferer from PTSD, as the stalker knew), but who, being a semi-retired attorney and bully with time on his hands, threatened to sue SI if he was stopped from his stalking -- causing SI to back down and inform the victim that "we can't enforce the no-to-or-about rule against him any more."
After the victim was driven off SI for some time (and into medical treatment) by the stalking, which went so far as threatening to reveal private information and post "personal" emails between them, X's alliance with the bully-stalker ended very quickly.
All the statements I make above and below about that very litigious attorney are imo only, naturally!
Having made that very incomplete recap, which should convince you that I know and remember as much as you do about X's strange and icy-cold identification here with a true bully and sadist (and this stuff wasn't 4 years ago, it was closer to 2), I'll now say this:
..that there are a number of RW guys now stalking X from thread to thread; that imo it's inappropriate; that (also imo) the only person who at this point might have an arguable right to follow X around with reminders of X's personal-meanness-history is its victim, who doesn't do it at all.
Look: every time I see X inveigh against bullying, I laugh.
X is dumb about one thing: human beings. If she weren't, she'd have apologized publicly long ago to the person damaged by the bully she defended (a victim whose emotional reaction to the stalking she publicly ridiculed). IMO that would have left no one with significant grounds for continuing reproach.
Human beings are, however, the only thing I've noticed X being dumb about.
There aren't imo a half dozen people, and maybe not three, on SI as intelligent as X. I'm expressing my opinion that the reason you and a cabal of RWers stalk and harass her, is political.
IMO you guys just can't stand that X can outthink and outargue any RWer on SI, and that she treats you dismissively.
Being smarter than you and treating you dismissively is not a crime, and doesn't justify ongoing stalking and harassing. |
