Don't follow her around and you won't feel challenged. (You may be right, or wrong, that she's ambivalent, and getting in her licks while maintaining deniability, I haven't seen enough to judge.)

I dare say SI is full of people saying things I would feel "challenged" by if I read them. Third party cracks are made about me frequently. Life is too short to engage them all.

But if you are right, that she solicits it (and I don't know) look how smart that makes her: She will have created a situation in which you and Laz and JLA (and maybe others) appear to be obsessed stalkers.

Nobody is obligated to make posts on SI that don't "challenge" other people. There are undoubtedly a hundred people whose posts would "challenge" you if you read them. Why Peoplemark her and go from thread to thread looking to see if X has "challenged" you recently?

I think it's because she argues her positions very well, and you guys find that, and her, threatening and infuriating, so you obsess on her and refuse to honor her many explicit indications that she'd like to be left alone by you.

So she wins! She's the victim of a group of obsessed stalkers!

My suggestion is simple: Leave her alone.

Don't think the irony of this escapes me.
