One thing that you have failed to observe is this: Most of us post about topics and discuss them rationally. Given that many are prone to spicing up the discussion with peppery flames, is beside the point. Although we usually foist some objections about personal comments/attacks, there is a clear distinction between that and substance related to the topic.

X has a nack of weaving her persona into the topics she proposes or engages in. So, if you post about a topic X is participating in, SHE makes it about her and who is doing what to her.

Why do you suppose EVERY topic X participates in, ends up being about her, and anti-others (we know who is included, X is an inclusive person ... sorta)? We get it, we just don't let her get away with it.
