When I was a kid, I was the remote. My father would call me downstairs to the living room. Upon arrival he would say..."turn on channel 7, would ya!" ;) I never minded....it was kinda funny. I know some families had those fancy TVs with the bug selector that clicked and actually turned the nob. Hell, we didn't even have color TV. lol
