It wasn't nearly as hard as the Dems, including you, have gone after Republicans.


Tim, what is wrong with you? Do you think the real acrimony is being made public? We are seeing only the tip of the iceberg. And whatever they said to him, Specter is talking a different tune today.

Specter probably wouldn't have won his primary without Bush's support and the support of other national figures in the Republican party.

That's not what Specter is saying.

Than as soon as he wins he fires a shot across Bush's bow. He deserved a little bit of criticism and he doesn't deserve to automatically get the judicial committee chair, when he has announced a policy for this area at odds with the majority of hid party.

If Bush truly helped him to get re elected, then he's being ungrateful. However, it doesn't look like Bush was responsible since Bush didn't take PA.
