If Bush truly helped him to get re elected, then he's being ungrateful. However, it doesn't look like Bush was responsible since Bush didn't take PA.

I didn't say Bush was responsible for Spector winning the general election (although he did support Spector in that as well), I said he helped Spector win the primary. Toomey (a more conservative candidate) might have won the primary if it wasn't for Bush getting behind Spector.

So then, you feel Specter getting skewered by the GOP is reasonable.
