You are trying to protect me? From whom? Who is launching the most powerful attack against civil liberties and democracy in the USA? That would be BUSH. Don't be ridiculous. You guys couldn't protect the US from McVeigh or OBL. You guys couldn't protect 1100+ soldiers from a small band of insurgents in a third world country less than 1/10th our size that had been continuously bombed and deprived for 12 years. With a protective capacity like that, who the heck needs enemies? ----------- Yet again your inability to peel labels off of people strikes again! One scholar, talking head, analyst does not 1.5 billion people's mind make. It's like saying that the US produces the heinous torturers of Abu Ghraib and we should look into our hearts and exorcise that in built tendency. Those are INDIVIDUALS doing INDIVIDUAL ACTIONS under incompetent and barbaric leadership. Take off the labels and see things for what they actually are, not as you automatically presume them to be.
