The art of ‘sacred’ lying -Certain lies were concocted by many a intellectuals, now that OBL has accepted responsibility, you were amongst forefront of those who really spilled a lot of cyber specks on theories about how Jews or US government planed 911.

These things are being dug out even in Pakistan and apologies being sought, will you be strong enough to offer us a similar apology, we can than go on to look for new conspiracies of fraud. Please read the following article, their is no shortage of people who have a similar bent like yours that borders delusion’s at its peak and raw imagination at its best..

The art of ‘sacred’ lying —Khaled Ahmed’s TV Review

Prof Ghafoor famously wrote the thesis that the Americans and the Jews actually destroyed the World Trade Center in 2001. The ‘kizb-e-muqaddas’ was blown to smithereens when Osama bin Laden in his latest tape boasted once again that he had actually done it. What does a pious Muslim do when his lie is exposed? Does he apologise?

Communal and sectarian hatred is backed in history by a doctrine that some Muslim scholars of schism have noted. This is called ‘sacred’ lying or ‘kizb-e-muqaddas’. When confronted with an enemy who would have your life, you are free to fabricate charges against him. It is the end that is important, not the means. But how subtly should we do it? Needless to say, it is stupid to lie if the lie can be exposed in short order by events bound to happen in the near future. Even the art of being in denial is stupid if its prospect of being proved a hoax is quite near.

GEO (September 5, 2004) host Chughtai’s Foreign Affairs discussed hostage killings in Iraq with Arab News editor, Khaled, Prof Ghafoor of MMA, Senator Allama Abbas, religion minister Ijazul Haq and social worker Javed Jabbar. Editor Khaled said that the killers were common criminals who brought a bad name to the Muslims. He said most people in the Middle East opposed the killers. He said after the killing of 12 Nepalis, his paper got 6,000 emails of abuse against the terrorists. He said that those who monopolise Islam should not bring a bad name to the religion. Prof Ghafoor was of the opinion that since the Americans were in control of Iraq it was possible they were kidnapping and killing people to give Islam a bad name. He said the Americans attacked the tomb of Hazrat Ali. Allama Abbas said that a Muslim could not take hostage and kill Muslims. Javed Jabbar took a middle position saying it could be Americans or could be others. He said Americans could have sent agents among Muslims and then got them to kill the hostages. Ijazul Haq focused on the damage sustained by the Tomb on Imam Ali mosque and said people were rightly incensed.

Prof Ghafoor was greatly put off by the Arab journalist because the Arab journalist was strangely not in denial. After what the Arab said, Prof Ghafoor insisted on offering his ‘expert’ opinion that the Americans were kidnapping and killing the Iraqis and other Muslims. Allama Abbas was not worried that he was mouthing a cliché that has harmed his community a lot in Pakistan. It is the likes of Allama Abbas who persuade the government to dodge its duty of protecting citizens from sectarianism, which is actually Muslim killing Muslim from times immemorial. It is most unfortunate that Mr Javed Jabbar decided to sit on the fence even when there was all the reason for him to be on the side of the truth. Prof Ghafoor famously wrote the thesis that the Americans and the Jews actually destroyed the World Trade Center in 2001. The kizb-e-muqaddas was blown to smithereens when Osama bin Laden in his latest tape boasted once again that he had actually done it. What does a pious Muslim do when his lie is exposed? Does he apologise? No, the proud Muslim sticks to his lie and goes into more denial.

ARY (September 6, 2004) Dr Masood interviewed President Musharraf and asked him about alleged Pakistani terrorists surrendered to America. President Musharraf said that that to date no Pakistani had been surrendered to the United States. He said even non-Pakistanis were first offered to their home countries and only when they were refused were they sent to America. He complained that many leaders and intellectuals came on ARY and accused the government of surrendering Pakistanis to the US but the ARY did not have the expertise to ask them critical questions. These leaders and intellectuals did not apologise after discovering that they were wrong. He said that the last terrorists sent to the US was first offered to his home country Tanzania but Tanzania refused to take him.

President Musharraf’s complaint was directed at Dr Masood himself who regularly flies off the handle with his conspiracy theories and his anti-West jihad from London. The ‘intellectuals’ he referred to were Hameed Gul and Aslam Beg whom Dr Masood regularly consults as the leading Islamic men of wisdom and has never cared to question them on their lying. The Muslim intellectual is not the one whose opinion is always proved right; he is the one who will never stop lying just because his lies are regularly proved wrong. Both Hameed Gul and Aslam Beg are more interested in being ‘prophetic’ than in being wise, which is such a prosaic thing in life. The disappearance of Dr Afia is a case in point. Led by Imran Khan, the Muslim intellectuals claimed that she was a Pakistani President Musharraf had handed over to America. After it was revealed that she was actually made to go underground by her handlers in Al Qaeda no one apologised for having lied.

ARY (September 4, 2004) continued host Dr Masood’s pursuit of the fable of Imam Mehdi with Dr Israr Ahmad. Dr Israr said that the prophecy contained in the fable pointed to two wars, one in which the Muslims and the Christians would fight together; and the second in which the Muslims will fight the Christians. The first war had already happened when in 1991 the Muslims fought the war against Saddam Hussein together with the Christians (America and Allies). The second war was going on now in Iraq in which the Christians would go back on a treaty with the Muslims. This war will be lost by the Muslims in which 99 percent of them would be destroyed. But after this defeat Muslims would win again. After this victory Dajjal will arise among the Jews and Dajjal will be killed after the appearance of Christ and Imam Mehdi. After that the world will come to an end.

Dr Masood and Dr Israr collaborated on what must be the most depressing programme in the history of Muslim TV. What’s the use of living if Dajjal is soon (2005?) going to kill all the Muslims barring a few? What’s the use of living now when we know that after Dajjal is killed by Imam Mehdi the world itself will come to an end? Dr Israr has achieved the feat of spreading gloom and Dr Masood has egged him on by looking at him bug-eyed in total blind faith. This is Dr Masood’s promised jihad against the West. *
